REASONS FOR JUDGMENT

HILL J:

1                     This is an appeal from a decision of the Federal Magistrates Courtwhich dismissed an application for judicial review of a decision of the Refugee Review Tribunal.  In circumstances where the appellant failed to make an appearance at the time set down for hearing and the Court has been informed by the respondent that records of the Department of Immigration indicate that the appellant has left the country, I order, in accordance with           s 25(2B)(bb)(ii) of the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976 (Cth), that the appeal be dismissed for failure of the appellant to attend the hearing.
