From the above judgment handed down in Sydney on 9 October, 2000 by Justices Wilcox, Emmett and Merkel JJ please note the following:

.           at para 75, line 1, between the words “accepted” and “the proposition”, delete the word “of”;

.           at para 144, line 14, replace the word “approval”, which appears in the phrase “Dr Brown’s erroneous approval”, with the word “approach”; and

.           on the final page, replace the date of judgment and of certification, originally noted as 12 October 2000, with the date “9 October 2000”.
