           Amendments to the Reasons for Judgment

1.   Page 28   Para 4.3:

              Omit line 8 to end of paragraph and replace with:

              "fairness against the obvious public importance of investigating misconduct and unlawfulness in the public sector and the Ombudsman's statutory duty to report her opinions on such investigations accompanied by reasons. Accordingly, it is my opinion that the Ombudsman may report opinions touching individual guilt."

              Para 4.4 (b) last line:

              Omit "established" and replace with "appeared to disclose."

              Para 4.4 (c):

              Omit first line and replace with "In that sense properly reasoned opinions on the issue of individual guilt"

2.   Page 32   Para 5.2 2nd paragraph line 4:

              Omit "an" where second appearing and replace with "the"

3.   Page 37   Para 5.8 Conclusions (a) second line:

              Omit "the evidence discloses" and replace with "the evidence given to me (or my office) would appear to disclose"

4.   Page 42   Para 6.4 (a) last line:

              Add "under section 15(2)."
